    • Developed a specialized workflow for calculating a “Safe Mud Weight Window” based on 1D and 3D Mechanical Earth Models for Parsi Oilfield, the Asmari reservoir (Lali field), and the Sarvak carbonate.
    • Provided maximum safe injection pressure limits to the Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) guarantees that the injected gas actually pushes oil toward producing wells rather than fracturing the cap-rock and escaping to the surface.
    • Applied Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) to estimate shear wave velocities with high accuracy which allows operators to build reliable geomechanical models for safe drilling and subsidence monitoring without the need to run costly specialized sonic logging tools in every well.

    • Accurately evaluated the deformation modulus (Em​) of a heavily bedded and jointed rock mass in western Iran to ensure the stability of the high-pressure water tunnels and underground plant linings at The Azad Pumped Storage Power Plant (PSPP) Project
    • Established reliable equivalent geomechanical design parameters for tunnels cutting through highly heterogeneous and interbedded flysch-like rock mass formations for The Konjancham Water Conveyance Tunnel Project
    • Optimized the heavy rock bolt and shotcrete support system for a massive underground powerhouse cavern while strictly accounting for the random spatial variability of the rock mass properties for Large-Scale Underground Powerhouse Cavern Projects (Azad Dam)
    • Validated and ranked the accuracy of popular empirical models (such as the Barton-Bandis criterion) against actual laboratory testing data to improve stability calculations for rock slopes and open-pit walls for different rock slope design projects.
